The day the music died
Really, that headline has nothing to do with anything.
But it's good to be back. I haven't blogged in a while but figured I needed to update how things are going.
Well, they are going.
Brian.

AT&T still sucks
It's great to have all of this week off. I definitely needed a break from the students and I'm looking forward to eating some serious Thanksgiving grub.
Planning to have Thanksgiving dinner with the in-laws, then return on Friday to have our own Thanksgiving dinner over the weekend. Not that I need all this food, mind you. I've been eating quite a bit (Stacey and I are going to Five Guys for lunch; she's getting a veggie burger -- what a wimp) and I haven't been doing anything in the way of exercising lately.
In fact, I challenged myself to drop and do 20 push-ups this morning, and barely got through 10. I've got to get on the ball!
By the way, AT&T sucks. I mean, absolutely, positively sucks. We still usually can't make calls in our home and when we do manage to connect with someone, the call is usually dropped. It was good news to hear that Verizon is going to partner with the iPhone. We'll probably be kicking AT&T to the curb, once our contract runs out. Of course, Verizon will probably end up sucking, too. You really can't win.
Yeah, I'd probably have to buy another iPhone to get a contract with Verizon, but it would be worth it not to be aggravated with AT&T's shitty infrastructure.
Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.

Hey, this is a private residence, man!
Hey everyone. It's been awhile.
Things are going really well. Getting more and more adapted to the teaching gig, even while I continue to be smothered in paperwork and red tape. Got a new principal who seems really together and focused on the task of improving the school. That's good news.
On the home front: Stacey and I are planning a trip to New York to see my son, Brady. Looking forward to seeing the Big Apple all spruced up for the holiday season.

Cooper's doing well and using more and more words. He's also really becoming a stinker, getting very adept at pushing all the buttons.
I'm glad the holiday season is here and I'm also glad it has cooled off a bit. Those 90- and 100-degree days were beating me down.
Hope everyone is getting in the holiday spirit.
Brian.

People still reading
It's amazing that people still stop in here since I haven't blogged
since mid October. Inpromise to get on the ball, but I've been busy.

The market has been in a great rally. Good news. Teaching has been
going well, albeit still frustrating at times.
What's up people?

Getting ready to go to sleep. It's the end of a pretty long week.
Cooking short ribs for a friend and his wife tomorrow night.

Went to see Daniel Tosh. Show was actually a bit of a dissapointment.
He seemed to lack that rapid fire, stream of consciousness thing that
is typically his trademark. He wasn't horrible though.
